My Story

At the age of 12, Jarrett was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and received chemotherapy treatments for 18 long months. He has been cancer-free for the past 10 years. Today, Jarrett is 24 years old and this past June received a BS degree from UC Davis in Psychology. He works for the Berkeley Unified School District at the Oxford School LEARNS program and coaches a basketball team. For the past seven summers, Jarrett has worked at UC Berkeley's Youth Sports Camp. Jarrett has always been a social being and enjoys interacting with people. He enjoys playing and watching a variety of sports, camping, and engaging interpersonal discourse. One of his passions is working with youth, using sports as a vehicle towards social unity.
