My Story

Pretty is our Strong Brave little momma who DOES NOT let anything take her down! Alina has battled Cancer twice..yep I said twice...She has had a epedymoma brain tumor that was over 7 1/2 inches big..went thru chemo had a full ressection of the brain performed by The Great Dr. Sun with the help and support of the lovely ladies that work beside him she went thru an 18 1/2 hour brain surgery...went thru more chemo after the surgery and intense radiation...In October 2005 we where proud to announce our daughter's full recovery and that she beat this cancer...Then 2 weeks shy of 2 years Sept.2007 in remission she went into respiratory failure stop breathing in my arms and then is when we found out she was in for another long battle ahead of her where Dr. Hastings found a large 9cm. tumor blocking her air wave to breath on her own...So now she is currently battling Lymphoblastic Lymphomoma.. undergoing LOTS and LOTS chemo she is doing really good staying strong and healthy and happy....Besides all the cancer stuff she is a girly girl, strong brave, friendly, feisty knows what she wants loves to sing, dance and do cheers..she just loves life...She will win anyone over with her big smile and dimples and crazy attitude like she won the first battle she will do it again! ...That's my baby girl! Alina "Pretty" Mendoza! The FIGHTER!
