My Story

Kathleen is a two-time survivor of bilateral Wilm's Tumor, a pediatric cancer of the kidneys. For more than 30 months, "Kiki" battled her cancer through three surgeries, radiation treatments and many many weeks of chemotherapy. 

Kiki recently graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Animation from the Maryland Institute College Art.  She is currently freelancing on an animation project, and her senior thesis has been featured in several animation expos, including an upcoming event in New York hosted by Women In Animation (WIA). Kiki is nearly 17 years cancer free!

Kiki and countless other kids have benefitted from the great work of organizations like St. Baldrick's. Through the fund-raising efforts of this great organization, new and greater one treatments for kids' cancers emerge each year. Thank you for supporting St. Baldrick's, and for helping kids like Kiki live full and happy lives!
