My Story

Tanner was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma when he was 8 months old. He went through several rounds of chemo and a surgery to remove the dead tumor. He had two stem cell transplants and radiation. He was in remission by the time he was one. Right before his third birthday Tanner was diagnosed with secondary AML. He got this from the chemo he received for the neuroblastoma. They say the likelihood of getting cancer from chemo is about 3% chance. Tanner was in remission from the AML in about a month and had a bone marrow transplant in January of 2007. He has been in remission from this since Nov 2006. Tanner is a strong fighter and has been through alot in his short 4 years of life. He is a true inspiration to anyone who meets him. Thank you for your support of fighting childhood cancer.
