My Story

Stephanie had Non-Hodgkin Large Cell Lymphoma. She struggled with it for 1.5 years. Stephanie died June 4, 1997. Stephanie always had a positive attitude and felt that she would beat the cancer, she never once gave up. She was playing volleyball when she felt a lump on her chest. When she went to the first doctor he said that she could have pulled something. But she was having trouble breathing and swallowing. So she went to another doctor who then found the tumor. He would not let Stephanie leave because the tumor was pressing against her heart and esophagus. She went through kemo, radiation and a bone marrow transplant but it had spread very quickly through out her body. She was a strong person, always concerned about everyone else. She was an angel.
