My Story

McKenzie is a fun loving girl, who loves everyone. She always has a smile even when the day is tough. She is a Christian, who knows that without her faith she would not be where she is right now. She is involved as much as possible with cheerleading, choir in her church, guitar lessons, and many programs at LOFBC. She cheers with UPWARD. She enjoys singing, and riding her bike. McKenzie is home schooled and her favorite subject is Geometry. She loves animals of any breed, but mostly her dog, her MeMe's and PaPaw's dog, and every cat in the neighborhood. She names every stray that comes around to our house. Right now I think there are 10. McKenzie is struggling with Neuroblastoma, and Glioblastoma. We just found a small tumor on the right side of her brain. Her leg pain is more than she can handle most afternoons and nights, and she is starting to have headaches. Walking for her sometimes is a challenge. The main people in her life are her Lord and Savoir, Mommy, MeMe and Papaw. She also has an extended family who she has adopted into her life as her own. She never meets a stranger and is constantly praying for others. With the Lord, our family and friends, and everyone who has met McKenzie in the past or will eventrually meet her, she has been in good hands. She is a "Child Of GOD", He is her protector, Her Best Friend, and the Hand Holder. KEEP PRAYING!!!!
