Brianne was a dancer and a athlete she enjoyed Volleyball and Soccer so much. Brianne had just turned 15 living a normal teen life hanging out with friends, going out to eat and the movies just enjoying her life. During that time it was soccer season and every Saturday morning we were ready to go cheer her on the field our favorite family moment as proud parents. We never saw any red flags and on her last game once she got home she complained that her left ankle was swollen immediately we though she got hurt playing she said she didn't get injured. The follow morning she went to school she was feeling good and by noon she called and said her leg hurt and it was swollen. That afternoon at the ER they realized she had a huge blood clot in her leg. She was sent to the Childrens Hospital put in PICU and spend a week there and got sent home on blood thinner shots. 5 days later late at night she complained of back pain and took her to the ER and thats when they found the tumor in her Pelvis. Finally the answers of the blood clot and thats when the whole ordeal started. She was sent to Driscoll Children's Hospital in Edinburg, TX and spent the next week in the hospital test after test, biopsy, bone marrow aspiration, endless Ultrasounds, CTS and a PET Scan. Rhabdomyosarcoma Stage 4 Metastasis was the result after all those test now to get treatment going start with the Port to start Chemo the tumor was inoperable since the tumor the size of an orange was surrounding her aorta. She started chemo April 3, 2025 the plan of treatment was 14 rounds of chemo and 28 rounds of radiation. Many hospital stays, a Pilonidal Cyst and infections, having to stay in Houston for 2 months to receive Proton Radiation. After those 9 months receiving the news that there was no evidence of disease was just such an answered prayer our miracle. In February 2026 she rang the bell, the port was removed and Brianne was getting a break from everything she had endured the past year. In April 2026 her routine scans showed what we never wanted to hear again the cancer was back a new tumor in her pelvis area. The news of the cancer coming back hurt even more than the original diagnose. Brianne cried it hurt, it made her world stop for a moments just to think thats he had to do it all over again, but then the we will fight no matter what lets ho ahead and do this. And here we are 4 months into Chemo treatment and living a day at a time. We have faith in God he will make the miracle in Briannes life.
