My Story

In October 2024, our son David—who was six at the time and is now seven—began experiencing back pain. It kept getting worse until, in November, we found ourselves in the ER, where he was diagnosed with leukemia. It was a devastating blow, and in a single day our lives changed forever. Even so, we chose to trust God and to love and obey Him no matter what came next.

David has gone through chemotherapy and immunotherapy (Blina), and he is now in maintenance. He still has some numbness in his legs, but overall he has tolerated treatment remarkably well. Through every step of this journey, his faith has been fundamental—steady, sincere, and far beyond his years. He has such a pure heart, and even in the hardest moments he radiates joy and hope.

He remains the same bright, energetic boy who loves soccer, Legos, and videogames. He’s a true thrill‑seeker and absolutely loves roller coasters. His spirit is contagious, and being around him is a gift.

God has been so good to us, and David continues to be a light in our lives.
