My Story

Amber fought a very difficult battle with her cancer and earned her angel wings December 8, 2007 four years and two days after her first diagnosis. She was the beloved daughter of John and Pam with an older sister Molly. She had a love for life and touched many people in her short time on earth. To know her was to love and you knew you were the fortunate one to have been part of her life. She wanted to spare other kids the pain and suffering she felt and participated in several studies. It surprised our family to find out that children were not often the first priority in research --- the most likely to be cured were left behind.
