My Story

Adrian was diagnosed at 3 years old with AML on 1/1/25. He was considered low risk group 2, and needed 5 rounds of intense chemo. He hit remission on 3/11/25 after 2 induction rounds. He went on to complete 3 more rounds finishing treatment on 7/8/25. He finally made it home for good on 10/8/25 after finishing chemo and battling an invasive fungal infection. He rung the bell on 10/31/25. He was doing great and even got to go on his Disney Make A Wish trip. Shortly after returning from his Make A Wish trip we found out he relapsed. He had AML again at just 4 years old, and needed a transplant. After almost 3 rounds of chemo he was declared in remission again and headed for transplant. He got his life saving bone marrow transplant on 7/15/26. He has officially engrafted and is doing well. In the past 19 months he has spent 343 days in the hospital fighting the biggest fight of his life. He has never let cancer steal his faith, laughter, or light through this long journey.
