London was just 9 years old when she was diagnosed with non-metastatic Ewing sarcoma of the rib on December 13, 2022. What followed was a long and difficult journey that she faced with incredible courage. She completed fourteen rounds of chemotherapy at Akron Children's Hospital and tewnty-eight days of radiation at Akron General Hospital, showing strength and determination every step of the way.
Today, London is 13 years old and has been in remission since February 2024. Her journey is a powerful reminder of the resilience children can have and why continued funding for childhood cancer research is so important.
When she's not reading the latest Dav Pilkey book, you can find London cheering on her favorite animals—foxes and cats—or enjoying a trip to the movies with family and friends. She has a big heart, an even bigger imagination, and a smile that continues to inspire everyone who knows her.
