My Story

Meet Stefon – A True Childhood Cancer Hero In August 2024, at just 6 years old, Stefon’s life changed forever when he was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). What followed was a journey filled with countless hospital stays, chemotherapy treatments, procedures, blood draws, and moments that no child should ever have to face. Through it all, Stefon has shown incredible courage, strength, and resilience. Even on his hardest days, he continued to smile, inspire those around him, and remind everyone what true bravery looks like. His journey has touched the hearts of family, friends, medical staff, and complete strangers. Today, Stefon remains in treatment, continuing to fight with the same determination that has carried him from day one. His story is a reminder that every child battling cancer deserves the chance to grow up, chase their dreams, and simply be a kid. Stefon is also the inspiration behind a children’s book, Small Bodies. Big Courage. Real Superheroes. The book shares his journey in a way that helps children and families understand the strength, hope, and courage found throughout the childhood cancer experience. A portion of the proceeds helps support childhood cancer research, continuing Stefon’s mission to make a difference for other children facing this fight. By supporting Stefon through St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you’re helping fund lifesaving childhood cancer research and bringing hope to families like ours. Thank you for standing with Stefon and every child bravely fighting cancer. Together, we can help create a future where no family has to hear the words, “Your child has cancer.” Thank you for being part of Stefon’s journey.
