My Story
Rowen Rednour was a fearless, joyful four-year-old who brought light and laughter to everyone around him. In 2024, Rowen was diagnosed with standard-risk, non-invasive medulloblastoma, a pediatric brain tumor. Rowen received a full tumor resection, six weeks of proton radiation and 5 rounds of standard risk preventive chemotherapy. He faced surgeries, treatments, and long hospital days with incredible bravery that inspired his family and community. Tragically, Rowen didn’t lose his life to the cancer itself, but to complications from the treatment meant to prevent his cancer from returning. Today we stand with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to fund better research and advocate for safer, more effective treatment options for children battling cancer. Rowen’s story reminds us that survival shouldn’t come at the cost of a child’s life. Our kids deserve treatments that cure them and let them grow up.
