My Story

I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at just 14 years old, and two months later I had my left arm amputated. After being on treatment for 8 months I took a 2 month break thinking I was free of cancer, but it came back in my lungs causing me to get lung surgery twice in both lungs. I finally finished all my treatment and started my remission journey in May of 2024. From cancer I missed my first two years of high school and so much more and it was hard to adjust for a teenage girl. But I had the most amazing supportive team in this journey, I had my family, friends, and healthcare workers to care for me throughout it all, thanking them everyday.
