Clara was diagnosed in June 2023 with Philadelphia Chromosome Positive B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Like too many other children, her treatment was long and difficult with many side effects, holds, multiple infections such as a bacterial meningitis, and close calls. After two years of active treatment, which began in June 2023, she rang the bell in July 2025! She is a US Army child, began her treatment after diagnosis in Germany at the Saarland University Hospital and was later flown on an Air Force C-17 back to the states for treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. We are incredibly grateful for everything the doctors, nurses, social workers, and many others have done to help her along her way.
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
