My Story

Eli is a sweet and strong four year old little boy! He loves playing t-ball, soccer, and with anything that has wheels! Eli is a boy with great energy and thrive, and so when we noticed him not being or even appearing like himself, we went to his physician and later the emergency room for further answers. On November 3, 2025, our Eli was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia after lab results found a very alarming discovery. See, a normal white blood cell count for a child is anywhere between 5,000 to 19,000. Eli’s count was 187,000. Within 24 hours Eli went through his first bone marrow biopsy and a lumbar puncture, which found he has B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (b-all). Our little boy has since faced so many challenges, suffered great pains and experienced things absolutely NO child should EVER have to go through. But even in the midst of it all, he remains steadfast, has been stronger than we could have ever imagined and is still such a loving, sweet and gentle soul. From our family, we are so very thankful for the outpouring of love and support that we’ve received from our family, friends and communities all around us! God has blessed us with such a beautiful village and for that we are eternally grateful. Thank you for supporting Eli and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. Thank you all, and may God bless you. With grateful hearts, The Scardilli Family
