In March 2025, Ava started experiencing nose bleeds, significant bruising and spontaneous bleeding, which prompted her parents to have blood work and doctor’s visit. After a long almost 24 hours, her mom received the call that would change their family’s life forever. Ava had leukemia.Within a short week Ava had a spinal tap, bone marrow biopsy and port put in to start immediate chemotherapy. This is a long process and is long from over. Ava will have to go on home bound schooling and postpone her love for stage play that she recently enrolled in “Dare to Dream.” Her mom is taking medical leave from work to take care of Ava. Ava will need treatment twice a week at a hospital 2 hours away. Their family has two other children at home and surviving financially will be solely up to one parent. Please pray for this sweet family and consider helping during this unimaginable time.
