Byron was 7yrs old when he was diagnosed with Rhabdomysarcoma.. It was behind his left eye, he had very limited sight. The doctors started him on his treatment right away. radiation & chemo. He had a shunt placed on top of his head. He could be seen always with a smile on his face even when he was going into treatment. He loved to go to the dairy farm with his dad. He loved working with grandpa & his uncles there too. But he loved seeing the cows. In 2023 we had a prob with the shunt it stoppped working & at this point operating was not a choice he was to weak, and the cancer had spread to the other side. Plus he lost sight in his right eye at this point, and pretty much stopped talking.. Which was crushing for us- he was known for his one liners.. Byron would loose his battle in April 2023 after a brave fight at 8yrs old.
