My Story

In June of 2016 Will received the tragic news that he was positive for Acute Myloid Leukemia (AML). In addition his AML would be associated with Monosomy 7 (M7), a rare neoplastic disease characterized by infantile to childhood onset of evidence of bone marrow insufficiency/failure associated with increased risk of AML. M7-AML is a rare subtype of AML that accounts for 3%–10% of childhood leukemia. Doctors had given him a prognosis of 50 percent and he would need to be treated with extensive Chemo Therapy and Radiation Therapy prior to a bone marrow transplant to survive. Although his prognosis was poor Will had always stayed positive and would always smile. Will's battle with AML would become Will's Fight!!!
