My Story

Hi! I’m Connor! I live in PA with my mom, dad, and little sister, Nora. I was diagnosed at 2.5 years old with AML and a myeloid sarcoma at the base of my spine. However, my family later learned that was a wrong diagnosis. After a spinal surgery, multiple rounds of chemotherapy for AML, 160 days inpatient, lots of blood products, fevers, PICU admissions, and 7 episodes of SVT…I was cancer free in June 2023!

But unfortunately, in late August 2023 I relapsed. We also learned that I was originally misdiagnosed and was treated for 8 months for the incorrect cancer. To say that we were shocked, angry, and devastated is the understatement of the century.

Connor now continues with fight with the correct diagnosis of Metastatic Ewing Sarcoma. He has begun his intensive 14 cycles of chemotherapy and 6 weeks of daily radiation to the original tumor site, followed by radiation to both lungs at the end of chemotherapy.
