My Story

The day after Brad’s senior night football game, his car malfunctioned as he was driving, causing the car to hit a ditch and roll twice. He was evaluated at the scene and more extensively at the emergency room. Amazingly, he only suffered scrapes and bruises from the accident but, a thyroid nodule showed up on a ct scan and he was advised to get it checked out. Given Brad’s family history of thyroid cancer, no time was wasted doing just that. He had a biopsy the day before Thanksgiving. Through all the appointments, he continues to keep up with school, prepare for exams, apply to colleges, and be the same kind, funny, amazing person he’s always been.  Thank you for supporting Brad and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick's Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
