My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. Paislee is 2 years old and was recently diagnosed with B Cell ALL. On July 18, 2022 it felt like our world was shattered into a million pieces. Paislee was immediately started with treatment. On July 19th, she had her port place, bone marrow and LP’s, and we started chemo that night. With a whirl wind of emotions … Scared, Guilt , hurt . I prepared to fight and stay strong for her. Two weeks in the hospital then we got discharged , Yay !! It was so nice to be home. But then we ended up back in the hospital Paislee has developed a bacteria infection. We didn't even get to start our first outpatient chemo visit. This has been so rough on her and our family. Paislee ended up going into septic shock , she had to have immediate surgery to remove her port. We aren’t even a month in for our journey to fight ALL and its been so so hard on us. But we are super thankful for an amazing care team of surgeons, doctors, and nurses. “ Her fight , IS our fight” #PaisleeStrong
