My Story

Aiden was diagnosed with stage 4 Nephroblastoma right before he turned 5. Our world was turned upside down and we had to move to Seattle with nothing but the clothes on our backs. He went through 9 months of radiation to his spine, abdomen, and lungs, and had 9 months of 3 different chemotherapies. It was the most difficult thing our family has gone through. We will forever deal with the aftermath and late effects. He will be checked yearly for life.

There are very few drugs for children's cancer and it is also the lowest funded cancer. ACS barely gives to children, and all others/ monies do not go to any research for new drugs. There has been only 1 new cancer drug tested and approved since Aiden's diagnosis. There are 12 different children's cancers.

The utmost important thing to our family for any child with cancer, is research for new and SAFER drugs.

St. Baldrick's is zero profit and ALL money goes to research only. It is the best way to help these kiddos ♡
