My Story

Mila was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in May of 2020. It started with a swollen tonsil that didn’t seem to be getting better. After a tonsillectomy, the biopsy showed she had Leukemia. She is being treated at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Her treatment plan is a long two and a half years, including many very toxic chemotherapy drugs. Only 4% of what the government spends annually on cancer research goes toward pediatric cancer.  Your support is so important to help fund research to find cures for future kids who will face this or at least find better, safer, less toxic treatments that doesn’t cause long-term side effects.
