My Story

At the age of 2 1/2, Loretta was diagnosed with Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma (JPA). A large mass was found in her brain stem that was pressing into her cerebellum. She was diagnosed and also treated for hydrocephalus at Galisano Children's Hospital in Rochester, NY. Currently, Loretta is undergoing her 4th round of treatment at Galisano Children's Hospital in Rochester, NY. Loretta is a joyous 8 year old who loves to play, sing, dance, craft, and draw.
