My Story

In October 2024, Logan went to the doctor after his parents noticed that his belly looked slightly swollen. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the doctor immediately ordered imaging, which revealed a tumor on Logan’s kidney. Logan was rushed to Lurie Children’s Hospital, where he was diagnosed with a Wilms’ tumor.

Logan underwent surgery to remove the affected kidney. Additional scans revealed that the cancer had spread to his lungs, and he began an intensive course of chemotherapy. Throughout the entire process, Logan faced treatment with courage and resilience well beyond his years.

On June 10, 2025, Logan rang the bell, marking the completion of his treatment. Today, he shows no evidence of disease, and his follow-up scans have been perfect. His journey has been a powerful reminder of the strength children can show in the face of unimaginable challenges.

Logan’s family continues to give thanks for his recovery while standing in support of the many children who are still fighting. Each year, more than 300,000 children worldwide are diagnosed with cancer. By sharing your time, talent, and resources with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you help fund the research needed to give every child with cancer a better chance at a cure.
