My Story

Kody was the youngest of 5 brothers and he was loved so much! Kody was a spirited young boy who loved to camp, hunt, fish, and swim. Kody was feisty and knew how to sweet talk his brothers and anyone who knew him. Quickly getting the nickname Superman from his nurses because of how strong of a fighter he was when they told us his chances were not good at diagnosis. But Kody fought a LONG and hard battle with smiles and laughter. His room was always full of cars, balls, and animals. Never a dull moment for his hospital room. Kody went NED- No Evidence of Disease for 9 months before he relapsed and we began 'Salvage' Treatment. Kody passed away at home, after 2 long and hard years of battling Neuroblastoma Cancer. He was 3 years, 4 months and 13 days old when he gained his Angel wings. Kody will forever be Our Superman! His spirit lives on through us all!
