My Story

Juliana is a vibrant, sweet, intelligent, and brave daughter to Judith and Jorge Lara. She was born on May 24, 2017, in Houston, Texas. On December 30th, 2021, Juliana was diagnosed with Leukemia at 4 years old. On January 2, 2022, after three and a half days in the hospital, and one full day in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), her diagnosis was confirmed as B-cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). After a long 2.5 year treatment plan that included the Blinatomamab clinical trial, Juliana finally rang the bell on March 24, 2024.


Juliana celebrated being cancer free for ONE year this past March. She recently celebrated her 8th birthday and is living her best life.
