My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. Gionni was diagnosed with leukemia just a few days after his fourth birthday. He continues treatment at Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin and will soon be entering maintenance phase of treatment for three more years. Gionni is the fifth of six children in our blended family. He is hilarious, full of life and brings his character with him wherever he goes. He loves dinosaurs, legos and National Geographic science books. While we continue to cope with Gionni's diagnosis on a daily basis as a family, we are very hopeful for a successful treatment and complete remission of his cancer.
