My Story

Emme was diagnosed with ALL leukemia on October 31, a day our family will never forget. Since then, she has been bravely facing weekly chemotherapy treatments at Akron Children’s Hospital. While the road hasn’t been easy, Emme continues to amaze us with her strength and her positive attitude—even on the days when she doesn’t feel well. Through every appointment, treatment, and challenge, Emme reminds us what true courage looks like. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing doctors, nurses, and staff at Akron Children’s Hospital who care for her with such compassion and dedication. The incredible advancements in childhood cancer research have played a vital role in shaping Emme’s treatment plan, and we are proud to help raise funds so this research can continue to grow, giving hope and better outcomes to other children and families facing this difficult journey. Our family has also been surrounded by an unbelievable support system of friends and loved ones who constantly show us love, encouragement, and prayers. We truly believe that God is giving Emme—and our entire family—strength through every obstacle we face. We are so thankful for our faith, our support system, and everyone walking alongside us on this journey.
