My Story

Thomas, was diagnosed with a rare form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia less than a week after he celebrated his second birthday. After his diagnosis, he spent more than half a year undergoing treatment at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. All of this treatment was inpatient, so he lived in the hospital the entire time with his parents. The treatment Thomas received was part of a clinical trial made possible by research and ultimately it saved his life! His family is so thankful for the doctors, nurses, and researchers fighting for better treatments for childhood cancer. Because of the power of research, Thomas is here to enjoy life as a happy, healthy, active little boy and a big brother to two little sisters! Please consider a life-saving donation to Saint Baldrick's Foundation today to help kids like Thomas!
