My Story

Frankie is a strong-willed and fun loving 10 year old. Frankie was diagnosed with a pilomyxoid astrocytoma in March 2018. Shortly thereafter, #TeamFrankie was created to support this amazing kid. In the years since his diagnosis he has had his good moments and bad moments but if you ask him, there are #NoBadDays. He has been through chemo, trials, multiple surgeries and most recently, radiation therapy and yet he continues to fight. Through all of this, Frankie continues his karate studies just to show what a fighter he is. Thank you for supporting Frankie and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
