My Story

Up until mid-September, Sapphire Lorayne was a happy, healthy, energetic, silly three-year old...Until on Monday, September 17, 2012, she was suddenly, and unexpectedly diagnosed with Leukemia. Two days later the cancer was further characterized as: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (also known as ALL). This was only 10 days after Sapphire's 35 year old mother, Summar, was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. Sapphire's father's name is Pascal, and she has an older brother (age 6) named Jayden. You can follow along with the Ruelle's stories - mother and daughter fighting cancer simultaneously - at www.therullefamily.com and/or www.caringbridge.org/visit/somebreezyhopestrength. Thank you for your prayers and support.
