My Story

Logan was diagnosed with T-ALL after being sent to the Er from the clinic we normally go to. We didn't think anything of what had been going on for the week that lead up to it. He was always tired, not really eating, bright lights hurt his eyes, he had a weird rash and was having bruises show up from nothing. We spent from the 29th of January to the 22nd of February in the hospital first in the picu with him intubated and a sleep then awake and doing treatment until his levels were good enough to come home. His dad spent every night with him while mom had to balance between home with his sister who is 1 and the hospital. He had made it look easy and still does! He got a port put in exactly 1 month after he was diagnosed. Now we take day to day medicine and go with the flow as we get use to the new normal.
