My Story
After a tough year of treatments, Konnor is in remission. We are so thankful for all the medical staff and doctors who cared for and treated Konnor. Going to the hospital and seeing their smiling caring faces was a wonderful help.
We know his treatment would have not been so precise and effective if it had not been for the many years of previous research. With ongoing research, the techniques, just keep improving and having less side effects. 20 years ago, he would have had a lot more brain damage after the treatments, but as far as you can see and tell, he has very little side effects from the treatment.
The Childhood Cancer Ripple Effect
Help kids take childhood back from cancer — support lifesaving cancer research today.
Children who are fighting or have fought cancer inspire others to be part of the Foundation's mission — to support the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
