My Story

Juliana is a vibrant, sweet, intelligent, and brave daughter to Judith and Jorge Lara. She was born on May 24, 2017, in Houston, Texas. On December 30th, 2021, Juliana was diagnosed with Leukemia. On January 2, 2022, after three and a half days in the hospital, and one full day in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), her diagnosis was confirmed as B-cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). Juliana is currently in long term maintenance. She’s scheduled to get her port removed in December and will be ringing the bell on March 24, 2024. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick's Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
