My Story

Our family was knocked sideways December 5th, 2016 when our older son was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his left tibia. The world around us stopped. He was born deaf in one ear and is Autistic. He has gone through a lot already and came so far! Why does he have cancer!?! He went through two cycles (4 rounds of treatment each) of chemo, a limb salvage surgery, and then four more cycles (16 rounds!) with hardly a break! He went through so much and each time he went in for treatment, he just didn’t think he could handle it. But we told him, “You got through this before, you can do it again!” And he would say, “Yes, I will not give up!” We are so blessed that he is home. He’s battered and worn but he is home. He has scans every three months, and two of those have been clear (six months NED!). Thank you for supporting MightyCaulin and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
