My Story

2 weeks before her diagnosis she had a cold then allergies and then another cold. Or so we thought. On Oct. 12th, 2017 we took her to her primary care for a hemoglobin check. Where we were told the machine is broken and we needed to get go get her blood drawn. Oct. 13th after dropping daddy off at work I took her over to the lab for a blood draw. Later that day while daddy was hanging out with her and I was working . I received a call saying to get her to the ER immediately. First they thought parvo or some infection. 3 blood transfusions and a platelet transfusion. 2 days later Oct 15th 2017 she was diagnosed with B-CELL Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia she got her Picc line and first bone marrow and lp of many . It has been a long road. I quit working to take care of our daughter. After induction November 14th she was moved from standard risk to very high risk. We lost our only reliable car and also our home. We are temporarily staying with a friend but need to find a permanent home for our daughter. The good news is her end of treatment date is January 29th, 2020. Alliebug is 3.5 yrs old and our hero. So brave and so strong. She is losing her hair now and starting to have some pain. Super Alliebug will get through this.
