My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. Addison was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma in December 2010. She fought this monster for 5 months before she passed away in May 2011. Addison was such an amazing little girl with the prettiest smile and best personality. She never let cancer get her down and she truly lived each day to the fullest. Since her passing her parents have started the Addison Jo Blair Foundation which focuses on supporting the Addison Jo Blair Cancer Care Center at Kosair Children's Hospital. The foundation also focuses on giving donations in the form of gift cards to families of children diagnosed with cancer being treated at Kosair Children's Hospital. Funds are also given to CureSearch for pediatric cancer research. A memorial scholarship is also set up at the high school Addison would have attended.
