My Story

After a month of various illnesses and a week of high fevers, Alayah was diagnosed with ALL on November 28th, 2016. After a whirlwind week in the hospital, she came home to start the 2 years of outpatient treatment. Though her cancer was detected early, there were trace amounts found in her cerebrospinal fluid. After a few "extra" spinal taps with intrathecal chemo, her labs were clear and remain clear. Alayah is now in Survivorship and remains cancer free (2024 will see her reach 5-years post treatment!). She is happy, energetic, and full of life! Thank you for supporting her and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
