Coming up on my 9th year with St Baldricks and life is very different than when I started. My family has grown with a 2.5,yr old daughter and my wife currently pregnant. Peyton’s best buddy, our beloved dog Otis left this side last month and went over to be with P. There’s been happy and sad milestones but all of them make me realize how much I miss her. I put on my tough face every day and just try my hardest to be a dad she would be proud of. This year fundraising is different as I am working in a remote location where I cannot hold an event. I will however pick up my rucksack (backpack in army terms) and get in some mileage every day. Feel free to do the same and let’s get some donations flowing. There’s other parents and kids counting on us to fund a cure. I can’t fight in the trenches for them, so this is my mission. Follow me!
That’s what this fundraiser is all about: supporting childhood cancer research. In its 25th year of raising funds, St. Baldrick’s supports the best research across the U.S. and beyond.
Did you know that every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer somewhere in the world? And in the U.S., 1 in 5 will not survive. These kids need our help.
Your donation is a great investment in hope for kids with cancer. It will drive groundbreaking research to transform the lives of children and their families for generations to come.
Thank you for helping me reach my goal and joining the effort to Conquer Kids’ Cancer!
