Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

Kevin Maloney Does the Bermuda Triangle Again, Jan. 12th – 18th; to Fight Cancer for My LISA!

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Allied World at St. Agnes Parish Center 2018

As most of you know, I lost My Beloved Wife, Lisa Maloney, to cancer in March of 2016. Lisa and I were already huge supporters of the St. Baldrick’s Mission, to fight childhood cancer, long before we were ever diagnosed in February, 2015. Having witnessed my wife’s: courage, strength, faith and grace in persevering against cancer; it truly made me love her, more and more, each moment of the struggle. I truly will always need to help fight cancer and to help others, in memory of My Beautiful Angel & Wife, Lisa Maloney. Once again this year, I will run: The Front Street Mile, the Bermuda Triangle 10K (6.2 miles) and the Bermuda Triangle Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) on 3 successive days in hilly, humid Bermuda. Once again, I will be accompanied by “The Brooklyn Bermudian”, Len Romeo! This year Matt Hansen will join us on the run also. And, as in past years, Anthony Lombardo and Mike Hoffman will be our Hamilton, BDA, Support Crew! I was so Overwhelmed & Amazed by last year’s donations! I cried the entire last mile of the Half Marathon, thinking of each donor, and how grateful Lisa and I both are that you are fighting cancer with us! Together we ALL raised $50,333 for St. Baldrick’s & the Fight Against Childhood Cancer. Words cannot adequately express my gratitude to each and every donor. Did you know that 300,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year? And in the U.S., one in five will not survive. I want to change that, so I'm raising money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
