We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

After 2.5 years Addilyn is finally done with chemotherapy. On August 11th, she had surgery to remove her port as well. She has overcome so much during this battle and has won! There will be no more accessing the port, lumbar punctures, liver injuries, low blood sugars, broken feet, swallowing daily chemo pills, steroid hunger, fear of the dreaded trip to the ER for 100.4 temperature. I could go on and on.
It’s been a horrible journey and we are elated that we are at the end of this road. The light is bright, and despite all the long term possibilities, her future is bright!
We are running the 5k in the New Haven Road Race for the second year. Come join Team Addie, donate, and enjoy a fun run and a beer! Let’s give others kids with cancer the same bright future!

In its 25th year of raising funds, St. Baldrick’s supports the best research across the U.S. and beyond.

Did you know that every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer somewhere in the world? And in the U.S., 1 in 5 will not survive. These kids need our help.

Your donation is a great investment in hope for kids with cancer. It will drive groundbreaking research to transform the lives of children and their families for generations to come.

Thank you for helping me reach my goal and joining the effort to Conquer Kids’ Cancer!
