The Best Year of My Life - How a terminal diagnosis changed everything

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Join me as we explore how facing a terminal diagnosis transformed my life in unexpected ways, making it truly the best year of my life. I have completely self-funded this event as a small show of gratitude for all who have supported my journey. I became aware of St. Baldrick’s incredible work through my daughter who fought pediatric cancer and won. My hope is to become the next cancer survivor in our home and any donation you are able to make will make an even bigger difference now that so much important research funding is being cut.

Where: The Guild Theater- 2828 35th Street Sacramento, CA 95817

When: Wednesday, September 3, 2025

Time: 6:30 - 7:30-ish PDT. Doors at 6pm

Can you think of anything more important than saving the life of a child?

That’s what this fundraiser is all about: supporting childhood cancer research. In its 25th year of raising funds, St. Baldrick’s supports the best research across the U.S. and beyond.

Did you know that every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer somewhere in the world? And in the U.S., 1 in 5 will not survive. These kids need our help.

Your donation is a great investment in hope for kids with cancer. It will drive groundbreaking research to transform the lives of children and their families for generations to come.

Thank you for helping me reach my goal and joining the effort to Conquer Kids’ Cancer!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
