Jogging for Jon: More Miles!

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Jonathan is turning 12 on 4/27… so I’m running 21 miles on 4/30. I started running while Jonathan went through chemo treatments in 2018. I ran my first half marathon for this kid. He is healthy and thriving now! This time I’m not running in solidarity of doing hard things, this time is a celebration of how far this kid has come. The first St. Baldrick’s fundraiser I did back in 2018, the goal was $100 for every mile I ran. I surpassed my goal of $1310. Let’s double that! Help me raise $200/mile to reach my goal of $4200 by race day 30 April 2023.  What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child? That’s what this fundraiser is all about: supporting childhood cancer research. Since the pandemic, donations are down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants. Your donation will help find cures and give survivors the long and healthy lives they deserve. Can you help? Thank you!
