Thank you for making the Jim Brady's event in 2011 such a success!! We had 48 registered shavees and 5 dedicated volunteers that were able to help us reach our fundraising goals of 200,000! Once all corporate matches are received and checks are accounted for, we will be past our goal. Please remember, donations can still being collected for this event so please do not stop your fundraising efforts!
Over the past 8 years we have raised $2,758,715 at this event through the donations collected by 412 shavees. In under ten years, St. Baldrick’s events have raised approximately $90 million, providing research grants to doctors and scientists at over 230 institutions to pursue the most promising new cures for childhood cancer and to help make clinical trials available to more children than ever. Since 2000, St. Baldrick’s has hosted more than 3,200 head-shaving events, shaving nearly 145,000 heads in 28 countries and 50 U.S. states.
