Church Hill Irish Festival

Join us as at the Church Hill Irish Festival the weekend of March 25-26th. Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Recently in the media has been the story of Caleb. Caleb is a 3 year old boy, from Mechanicsville, who was diagnosed in mid February of this year with  STAGE 3 NEUROBLASTOMA cancer.  This shows you how close to home this disease affects people's lives.  Caleb's father is a firefighter for the fire station #1 right here in Church Hill--so how appropriate that we should use this year to honor Caleb and his family along with the 100s of other families that this disease affects.  Please join us March 25th, as we have over 70 shavees, their friends and family. many volunteers and  fans that will be there to support each other in this amazing coming together event.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
