Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization including the U.S. government.
Please come out to meet the family of our honored hero, Kylie Myers. Kylie is now pain free and cancer free, she earned her wings on friday the 13th, she beat cancer and her legacy is in full motion. Kylie was a 12 year-old girl who loved to sing, act, and anything that got her on stage. After struggling with knee pain for months, she was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma in her knee, pelvis, and lung in April 2014. She went through seven months of chemotherapy that left her in such a malnourished state that she had to have a g-tube inserted for feeding. Throughout it all, she had maintained her faith, positive attitude and infectious smile.
Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. What is your legacy going to be?
