UPDATE 2/9/12: We are unable to accomodate any more shavees at our March 10 event. Sorry for the inconvenience! If you have questions, feel free to contact Cherri Springer - Event Organizer. Be a hero for kids with cancer Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. This head-shaving event will coincide with a Pikes Peak Derby Dames roller derby bout. The PPDD All Stars will be playing the Slaughterhouse Prime Cuts (Greeley, CO). Head shaving will take place before the game and during the half-time (Please expect to arrive as early as 6pm). Each shavee will receive a free ticket for the game, as well as a "plus one" for a friend or family member. Shavees will be expected to sit in a designated area (usually on the stage) until their heads are shaved, and then will be free to roam the Auditorium and watch the game! Due to the nature of this event, registration will be limited to 20 shavees. So if you are wanting to participate on a team, please be sure to have everyone register ASAP! Please contact the Event Organizer, Natalie (a/k/a Cherri Springer), with any questions!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
