The Carolina Hurricanes are once again supporting the St. Baldrick's Foundation. The team is offering fans free tickets to its game against the Panthers on March 19, if they are willing to raise money for childhood cancer research by having their locks shorn for St. Baldrick's prior to the game. Each fan who shaves his or her head will receive two upper level tickets to that night's game, while supplies last. Beginning at 4:30 pm, 99.9 The Fan talent will be on hand to emcee, assisting a team of stylists from SportClips in the head shaving activities on stages at the PNC Arena’s South Lawn (side that faces the football stadium).FOX Sports Carolinas television analyst Tripp Tracy will shave his head live at ice level during the second intermission of the game that night. Tripp’s head-shaving will also be shown live during the Hurricanes game broadcast on FOX Sports Carolinas. We thank the Carolina Hurricanes for being heroes for kids with cancer!
